Long Time No See

So, as some of you may have noticed I have not been blogging and its been over 2 months since I uploaded my latest blog post and I have my reasons which I feel like you all should know:

  1. People at my school found out and I felt embarrassed which I shouldn't do! I should feel proud of my blog because its what I love and so I don't want to let that get in the way!
  2. I felt pressured to upload on certain days and I felt guilty every time that I missed a deadline. I have realised that I do this blog for myself and that I shouldn't have to worry so I'm going to be making my blogging experience much more relaxed from now on!
  3. School. School is becoming much more challenging at the moment as I am in year ten at school which means that things are only going to get worse. I have started coursework but I am struggling with my German assessments the most as we have to memorise our whole script off by heart which is extremely difficult. Unfortunately, no matter how much I love blogging, school comes first.
I'm sure many people can relate to my third point especially so I hope that you can all understand. Thank you for reading this and hopefully I can upload more as it is currently the Easter holidays!
Finally, I am off to Scotland with my family next week so hopefully I can do another 'Come Along With Me' post similar to my one I did when I went to Devon!
I'm hoping to do some exciting things with my blog this year so I hope to look forward to that! Once again, thank you for understanding and I will see you in my next upload!

My Top Ten Favourite TV Shows

If you know me then you will realise that one of my favourite things to do is binge watch to shows until I am up to date! However whilst I have been watching these shows, I have come up with a list, that I think is long enough, to share with you all!
This list is in no particular order as I don't think I would be able to choose a favourite as I love them all! Hopefully this gives you an idea of a show that you could watch and get into and let me know if you watch or want to watch any of these shows down below!

1. Pretty Little Liars
I feel as though I should start my list off with a very obvious show and it had to be Pretty Little Liars! I will not go into too much detail about the show as I already have a blog post uploaded dedicated completely to the show which you can read here.

2. The 100
This is a new favourite of mine and I have been hooked ever since the first episode! It is about 100 teenagers (prisoners) who have been sent to Earth in order to find out whether it is a safe planet to live on once again. However, the teenagers find out that Earth has changed in many ways and it soon becomes an action packed show!

3. The Walking Dead
As you can tell by the title, this show is all about zombies and survival. Ever since the 'disease' had hit Earth, it has become extremely difficult to stay alive and live in a world over run by the walking dead. Once again this show is full of action and is definitely one to stay away from if you have a fear of blood!

4. Once Upon A Time
So, if you have never heard of this TV show then you will expect it to be full of happiness and fairytales, however you are far wrong. The story follows a girl called Emma who was abandoned as a baby, later to find out she is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. The show puts a twist on the fairy tale characters that you have grown up to love and have allowed the audience to see a different side to fairytales that we already know!

5. The Vampire Diaries
As you can obviously tell by the title, this show is about vampires. It follows the life of a girl named Elena who gets caught up in a love triangle with the two vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon. (TEAM DAMON ALL THE WAY) Throughout the show, every character finds themselves in difficult situations and this is another show where a lot of blood is shown. Just to warn you!

6. The Originals
This show is another new favourite of mine and it is actually a spin off of The Vampire Diaries! It follows the lives of the first vampires to ever live and is set in New Orleans. There are vampires, witches and werewolves in the show and a ton of action!

7. Grimm
So this show gets both good and bad reviews however, I personally love it! It is based on a man named Nick who is able to see the monsters that hide behind the faces of normal human beings. I realise that the show may come across a little fake to some but I thought that it was such a good show which I loved!

8. Sleepy Hollow
This show was one that I haven't watched in quite a long time but I still enjoyed it. It is about a man names Ichabod Crane who is ressurected after 200 years. It is full of magic and mystery and is also full of action.

9. Supernatural
Two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester  follow their fathers footsteps in hunting and killing supernatural creatures after their mother was killed.by an evil supernatural being when they were young.

10. Teen Wolf
I realise that I said that there was no particular order to this list of shows but I just had to save the best till last. Teen wolf is my all time favourite show! I just love the characters (Stiles Stilinski is my absolute favourite) and the story line! The show follows the life of Scott McCall after he gets bitten and turned into a werewolf.  There are so many mystical creatures in the show such as werewolf, a banshee, hunters and many other creatures created by the show!

What are your favourite shows?

Blogging Goals For 2016

I have a good feeling that this is going to be a very exciting year for me in terms of blogging! I can see myself developing the way I write and also I can see the standard of my photography improving! However I have a couple of points which I would love to share all about my blogging goals of 2016.

1. Reach 100 followers.
Now I'm not saying that I am only doing this for the followers! To be honest, that is the least of my worries, but it is always nice to know that you have an audience there who are reading my blog!

2. Make more friends in the blogging industry.
Now I have made a ton of amazing friends through Instagram who are able to support me whenever I need help! They are some of the best people I have met and I would love to meet more people and share our love for blogging!

3. Do more collaborations.
It is always fun to do collaborations with people as it does not only bring you together as friends but it also allows you to compare your writing skills and to improve as there is always room for improvement!

4. Develop my writing technique.
Whenever I read other blogs I find myself noticing the way that they write and the language that they use and I am always looking for ways that I can improve!

5. Improve my photography skills.
Just like I said in the introduction, I love to see blog posts with amazing photography and I would love my blog to have that effect on people. Therefore, I am going to be experimenting with lighting and different angles to give the best possible results.

Have you got any blogging goals?

What's In My Bag - Winter 2016

If you have been following my blog for a while now, you will know that I have done two 'What's In My Bag Posts' in the past and I think that every once in a while, it is good to update you on what I carry around with me!

So the bag that I carry around with me is one from Ted Baker which I luckily received for Christmas. I am absolutely in love with it and I especially love the rose gold details! I enjoy carrying it around on the long strap, rather than the handles also simply because it is easier!

The first thing that I carry around is an absolute essential and that is my phone! I have the iPhone 6 in gold and I love it! I also carry my matching purse, which I also received for Christmas which I am so grateful for!

I don't tend to carry much makeup around with me when I am out but I like to bring my Mac lipstick in the shade 'Lovelorn' for a natural lip colour. I also carry a small, compact mirror around with me so I can check up on my makeup throughout the day!
The next thing that I bring with me is the Zoella Beauty hand cream which is definitely an essential, throughout the cold months.

Finally, I tend to bring a pair a headphones and a small body spray around with me, for top ups during the day!

Finally on certain occasions, I like to bring a book with me however, it is quite rare of me doing so!

Beauty Favourites of 2015

As many of you can tell by my recent blog posts, I am taking advantage of the new year and having a ton of ideas for blog posts! Today I have a 'Beauty Favourites Of 2016' post for you all and I'm just choosing the products that really stand out to me.

Benefit 'The Porefessional'
This is my all time favourite primer that I have ever tried! I have repurchased it so many times and I use it every single day when I am applying my makeup. It creates a perfect base and also keeps my makeup on all day which I love.

Benefit 'Rockateur' blush
I love this blush all year round however, I prefer it in the winter months simply because I prefer a lighter/ brighter blush in the summer! Although this is my all time favourite blush by far, I love the colour, the pigmentation and pretty much everything about it.

Benefit 'Hoola' bronzer
Usually I really don't like bronzers, purely because of my pale skin. I find some too orange or too dark but my opinion changed when I got a sample of the 'Hoola' bronzer in a Benefit set! 'Hoola' bronzer is the perfect shade and it is so easy to blend so there is never any harsh lines on my face, I just love it!

The Balm 'Mary Lou Manizer' highlight
I picked up this stunning highlight in Duty Free on my way to Spain and I have been in absolute love with it ever since! It is the perfect colour and the pigmentation is unbelievable. I have never been so impressed by a highlight before!

Urban Decay 'Naked 3' eyeshadow palette
Throughout the year I have mentioned this palette many times and that is because it is my all time favourite palette ever! One reason being I love wearing rosy toned shades on my eyes as they make my blue eyes seem brighter! However I love the variety of colours and also the pigmentation!

Maybelline 'Lash Sensational' mascara
I felt like I just had to include a mascara as my final beauty favourite of 2015 and I had to choose my well loved 'Lash Sensational'. I am in love with this mascara and it is perfect for both thickening and lengthening your mascara me all in one which is often tricky to find! I love everything about it from the packaging all the way to the product itself!

What are your beauty favourites of 2015?

New Years Resolutions

Since it is the start of a new year, I figure that this is the perfect opportunity for me to share some of my New Years resolutions! I haven't gone overboard with these and they are simple resolutions that I can achieve in everyday life!

1. Drink more water.
It's is so important to drink water as it can benefit you in so many different ways! I don't usually drink much water on a day to day basis so I'm going to be drinking a lot more water from now on, hopefully..

2. Eat more fruit and veg.
My next resolution is to eat more fruit and veg! My reason for this is the same for drinking water, it can benefit you and your body in so many different ways.

3. Read more.
If you read my first blog post of 2016, then you will know that I want to read more and I have set myself a list of twelve books which I hope to accomplish by December this year!

4. Go out more.
As we all know, it is very easy to stay in bed and watch Netflix for hours upon hours so I'm making it my goal to actually leave the house and socialise a lot more than I already do!

5. Try my best in every single subject at school.
One again, it can get difficult to keep focused on all of your lessons at school, especially if it is a crucial year and you're getting piles of homework which never seems to end. This year I really want to try as hard as a can and receive the best grades of my ability.

What are your New Years resolutions?

October Favourites

So, throughout the month of October I have been loving a ton of different things which include fashion, beauty and more!

My first favourite is a fashion favourite and they are Topshop jeans! I now have three pairs and even though they are £36 each, they are the best jeans I have ever worn! They are extremely comfy and do that's that rough feeling, that jeans usually do.

My next favourite is a beauty favourite and that is Zoella beauty, I love the whole collection and I have gathered up quite a few items so if you want to see a collection/review post let me know! I just love the whole range so much and I can't believe how luxurious they are for a drugstore product!

My third favourite is my Mac lipstick in the shade 'Captive', it is a really pretty dark red shade which is just perfect for this time of year especially. It is a satin finish and stays on my lips for a long time which needing to be re-applied.

My next favourite is a song and it is of course, 'Hello' by Adele. I used to love Adele and now that she is making music again is making me so happy! I have also been loving the song 'Sorry' by Justin Bieber! I have loved everyone of his new songs and I have 'Sorry' on repeat all day long!

My final favourite is my iPhone 6! I git it for my birthday and I just love it! It means that I can take much better photos that will have a better quality!

What have you been loving this month?

We went past this super cute cake shop and I couldn't help but take a photo!

We also went into this cute café and had some drinks and also a slice of cake!

My MAC Lipstick Collection

So, it is no secret that I love MAC. It is one of my favourite brands, especially for lipsticks and I thought I would dedicate a post to them. Since I have eight lipsticks I figured I would share my collection with you all and give you some of my recommendations.

I realise to some of you eight lipsticks is not many at all but to others it may be too many. I am happy with my collection and I don't really plan on buying many more but only time will tell. I just wanted to put a quick disclaimer out there that I am not trying to brag or boast in any way I simply just wanted to share my collection with you.

I am not going to go into full detail on each lipstick and I am simply going to list them but if you would like a full review on a certain lipstick comment the name of it below and I will be sure to write one.

Five Things To Do In The Summer Holidays

Even though the summer holidays is time to relax, it can often get quite boring if you're stuck in the house all day. So I have created a list of five things that you can do to keep you occupied.

1. Start a blog
You could write a blog about anything you like. (preferably something that you like to write about) It is a great way to pass the time and express your love for what you enjoy.

 2. Bake something
I love baking and I love to see the results of a cake when I take it out of the oven. If you have never tried baking there are plenty of recipes everywhere and I would recommend simple, but yummy, cupcakes. My favourite cake to bake at the moment is a Victoria Sponge as they're so easy to make but they are absolutely delicious!

3. Read a book series
I used to absolutely love reading when I was in year six and you would always fine a book in my hand, but now, I find much more difficult to actually sit down and read so I am making it my aim to read at least five books.

4. Go for a walk with your friends
This idea is so easy to do. All you need to do is ask your friends if they want to go out for a walk and its a great time to pass the time and to just have a good chat.

5. Decorate your room
Now I'm not saying completely tear your room apart and get a ton of new furniture but what you can do it decorate it with simple things. One thing I did was get a few photos printed of me and my friends and stuck them on the side of my wardrobe. I found it did actually make a difference to my room and brings back the memories of when that photo was taken.

I hope that this post has given you a few ideas of what you can do and I know there is so much more to do out there, but these are just simple ideas of what you can do in your own home. I hope that you enjoyed this and comment below what you thought.

What's in my bag? Summer 2015

So I have already wrote a 'what's in my bag' but that was for winter so I thought it is about time I did an updated one!

My bag is actually from Primark and I think it's really good (as in quality) for it's price of £8. I prefer a smaller bag as it is less I carry and is much lighter. I really like the mint green colour and silver hardware as I find it is really summery.

The first thing I bring with me is my phone, I can't leave the house without it! I also bring a pair of headphones with me because it means that I can listen to music whenever I want!

Next is my purse I only have a small one because it means I can it more in my bag but this is just one I got for my birthday and it's from Paul's Boutiques and has different compartments. This means I am able to store cash, coins an any cards.

I also take my sunglasses which again, are from primark. The are actually really good quality and are a nice shape which I love! I always carry a pair because with England's forever changing weather, you never know when you'll need them!

I always carry some sort of lip product and at the moment I love Zoella's 'Kissy Missy' tinted lip balm because at the same time as moisturising my lips it also gives such a lovely tint of colour!

So that is everything I keep with me! I told you it wasn't much! Sometimes I might bring a small perfume sample around but I prefer to travel light! I hope you have a great day!

How Much My Face Is Worth

Usually I don't really think about how much my face is actually worth but I have seen this specific blog post floating around the internet and I thought that I would join in with the trend. I tend to change up my makeup routine often but if I want my easy everyday makeup routine I have a few products which I always go back to.

I am going to go in order of how I put my makeup on and I always start with a primer. The primer which I love and find works brilliantly for my is the Benefit Porefessional - £24.50 and this keeps my makeup on all day and creates a smooth base which I can work with.

I don't wear foundation but I do use a BB cream when I need that extra bit of coverage and I use the Rimmel 9-in-1 BB cream - £6.99 and this just gives me more coverage and also has SPF 25 so it is especially great in the summer.

I love concealer and my favourite is very well known and is very popular and it is of course the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer - £4.19. This concealer is known for the amount of coverage it gives which makes covering annoying blemishes a lot easier! Many people do not like this for under the eyes but I do so I use this concealer for everything!

For powder I like to use a translucent powder to make my skin look as natural as possible and I use the Rimmel Clear Complexion powder - £3.99 which gives a natural finish to the skin and sets my makeup in place.

For blush, contour and highlight I love the Sleek Face Form palette - £9.99 in light and the shades in this palette are just stunning! The palette gives such a lovely finish and also sculpts your face really nicely but also naturally.

Onto eyes, I usually switch up the products I use almost everyday but for a more natural, affordable palette, rather than my Naked palette, I use the Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette - £3.99 and I also use the fourth shade on my brows because it matches them and are perfect for me to fill in any gaps in my brows. I love all of the shades and they create stunning eye looks!

I use a clear mascara to set my brows and I use the Technic Natural Lashes clear mascara - £1.49 and it is almost running out and it looks all horrible and grubby now but it does the job and sets my brows in place for the rest of day.

I love mascara and my all time favourite has to be Benefit Roller Lash - £19.50. This mascara does absolute wonders to my lashes and lengthens them more than any other mascara does!

Finally it was really hard for me to choose only one lip product but I chose the MAC lipstick in the shade Flamingo - £15.50. It is a stunning coral colour which is perfect for the summer because it is that perfect shade.

So the grand total for my face is £90.14 which I think is okay but everyone has different opinions which is fine!

I hope that you enjoyed this post and that you comment what you thought! Also if you have done your own post of this comment below and I will check it out. Also I am so sorry about the quality of my pictures my charger has broken for my usually camera so I had to use my phone.

My In-Flight Essentials.

So if you did not know, I have been on holiday to Portugal and even though its only a two hour flight, I wanted to tell you a few of my essentials I like to take on a plane!

Hand Sanitizer:
Hand sanitizer is an absolute must for me on planes, there are so many nasty germs and rather than having to disturb you neighbours you don't have to get up all of the time to go to the bathroom! Also its great for when you want to eat food on the plane as you don't have to worry about having dirty hands!

Moisturiser:
During flights your skin can become very dry and dehydrated due to the pressure so keeping it healthy is an absolute must! On a plane most of you will know that you can only take 100g or less so make sure you depot your moisturizer into a small tub which are available pretty much any where!

Face Wipes:
I am never the kind of person who uses face wipes on an everyday basis in fact, I barely use them at all. I find they really irritate and are quite rough on my skin, even if I go for the softer ones. However on a plane you do not want to be wearing any makeup so a quick and easy way to remove it is by using face wipes!

Water:
I realise you can't take drinks through security but you should be able to buy some afterwards. I find by having a drink of water helps my body to stay hydrated but it also makes me feel a lot more awake and just really refreshed. I prefer drinking just water on a plane rather than something like lemonade just because it helps me just feel a lot better!

A book:
I am currently reading Paper Towns by John Green and also The Glam Guide as a light read by Fleur De Force. I am absolutely loving both and everyone knows that flights are so boring and as something to entertain me a book is my best friend! I usually read a whole book whilst I'm on holiday so I make sure to bring a back up!

Headphones:
One of the most annoying things during a flight (excluding your seat being kicked) is having to listen to someone else's music or films so to prevent being that annoying people, bring headphones! Its so simple and can also block any other noise which may be around you such as other peoples music or babies crying!

My iPad or iPhone:
I love watching films on the plane and also listening to music as it makes the flight a little less boring! I usually take both and download a ton of games films and music to entertain me because there is no Wi-Fi, which really upsets me! Although make sure you remember to turn on Aeroplane mode before you start flying!

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream:
This cream is very popular in the world of YouTube and blogging and it is literally amazing! It can be used for both a lip balm or a hand cream and they are just so moisturizing and hydrating! My lips usually tend to get very dry and chapped and this cream just solves all of my problems and just make me feel so much better.

A Hair Brush/Ties/Bobby Pins:
There is probably nothing worse than getting off of a plane with your hair all over the place, tangled and just looking like a complete mess! I find by carrying these in my hand luggage is just so helpful and I have learnt from my mistakes from past trips so by carrying these just makes you look that bit more put together and more presentable.

Eye Mask/Ear Plugs:
My final essential is and eye mask as it just blocks out any light whatsoever and makes it so much easier to sleep. I also bring some ear plugs because they just block out any sound and they make it easier to sleep and relax as you can't hear the plane engines or parts. This is also great if you are a nervous flyer as it helps to relax you and feel a lot better!

So I hope that you enjoyed this post, I may not be able to post later on in the week as I may not have Wi-Fi but if I do I will make sure to upload!

What Is In My Travel Makeup Bag?

So, I am going to Portugal soon for a holiday and I am super excited! I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to go through what is in my travel make bag. I have got a feeling this is going to be a long post like last time so make sure to grab a cup of tea and I will begin!

So when I am on holiday, I don't really like to bring a ton of makeup as I can weigh me down and I don't really need it all. I like to keep myself to a limit and take only my absolute essentials. As you will notice for eye shadow and for lipstick I tend to take more than one shades because it can get a little boring doing the same makeup routine everyday and I like to experiment with the items I have!
I am not including my brushes.

Face:

Primer ~ Primer is an absolute essential for me as I absolutely love the feeling or a super soft base to work with. I really enjoy using the Benefit 'Pore Fessional' as I creates a smooth base, reduces (some) discolouration and also makes my makeup stay on for longer, which on the nights out I need!

Concealer ~ As a base I only use concealer because I want to keep my skin looking as natural as possible and even though a BB cream is natural, prefer to use just concealer on top of my primer. The concealer I will be taking is very well known and it is the Collection 'Lasting Perfection Concealer' in the shade 1 Fair as it gives the most amazing coverage ever which will help if you have any nasty sunburn! A lot of people say don't use this under your eyes as it may cake but I use it anyway and I really like the results I get from it.

Powder ~ I need powder in my life, especially when I am on holiday where it is very hot! I like to use powder as is means my makeup is going to stay in place all night and even if I sweat (gross) it will not budge! I really like to use the Rimmel 'Clear Complexion Powder' in the shade 021 Transparent. I like this concealer as it does not add any different colours to my skin which may make my skin tone look uneven. It does not make my makeup cake like the Stay Matte but simply sets it in place, reducing shine.

Contour, Highlight And Blush ~ The trio I will be taking is my Sleek Face form palette in the shade '372 Fair'. I absolutely love this trio as it has the most gorgeous shades ever and they are all beautiful for summer time. The trio comes with everything you need and a decent sized mirror which is perfect for on the go makeup and for travelling, not to mention the colours are super pigmented!

Eyes:

Eye Shadow ~ I will be taking my two Colour Tattoos by Maybelline in the shades 'On And On Bronze' and 'Pink Gold'. They are both stunning, everyday wear colours which can look so nice on their own! These are so easy to apply and you do not need a brush although I will take one to make sure that the colours are fully blended out!

Brows ~ I am taking a matte eye shadow by No7 to fill in my brows but I unfortunately do not know the shade of it. By using this it gives a natural brow look but makes them look that little bit better. I also like to set my brows in place using a clear mascara but you can also use a brow gel but I find they work pretty much the same way.

Mascara ~ I will be taking just one mascara along with my eyelash curlers as I don't really want to carry more makeup items than I actually need. I am going to bring my Collection 'No Clumps' mascara as I find it is just amazing and it creates a really fluttery look which obviously has no clumps!

Lips:

Lipstick ~ I will be taking two lipsticks and they are my MAC lipsticks in the shades, Flamingo and Chatterbox, I prefer flamingo for trips to the beach and chatterbox on the nights as it is a darker colour. I love both of these lipsticks and would recommend them to anyone and I will soon be doing a MAC lipstick collection in the next couple of weeks.

I hope you enjoyed this post, check back Friday for another holiday related post!

My Night Time Skincare Routine

So this is the second post to my skincare series and I thought I would do a night time edition skincare routine as it goes pretty much hand in hand with my morning routine which if you have not yet read I will link it here.

Step One - Remove Makeup:

So this is a step I can never miss on an everyday basis. I always feel as though my face isn't clean unless I know I have removed the majority of makeup off of my face! I tend to use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water on a cotton pad as I find that is the best way to apply it and by doing this it makes it much easier to wash my face without worrying mascara is dripping down my face!

Step 2 - Cleanse:

So of a night time I usually prefer to use a relaxing facial wash such as the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Cream Wash. It is very soft of the skin and it also gives a really nice cooling effect. It is extremely soft on the skin and it is also really gentle which is why I love it!

Step 3 - Tone:

I have to admit, I do forget to tone everyday but when I do I use the Simple Kind To Skin Facial Toner and I just take that on a cotton pad. I find when I use this it makes my skin feel extra soft and I find I don't get as many spots which is just amazing!

Step 4 - Moisturise:

So this is the final step in my everyday skincare and I tend to use the Nivea Soft Moisturising Crème. I enjoy using this because it sinks into my skin really nicely leaving my skin with a silky soft finish. It also leaves my skin feeling a lot more hydrated than what it would have done!

So I hope you enjoyed this second blog post of the 'Skin Care Series' make sure to check back next week for another skincare related post!
