Soap And Glory Brand Focus ~ Collab

So it is no secret that I love Soap and Glory! In fact I love it so much that me and Leah from @Pretty_perfectxoxo on Instagram decided to do an entire post dedicated to Soap And Glory!

So to start with the basics, Soap And Glory is a drugstore skincare brand which sells shower, body and skincare products sold in Boots And Superdrug. A few products they sell are things like Shower gels to creamy body butters which are perfect to fix dry skin!

 

They have many different scents but my favourite scent is probably Sugar Crush! It is such a lovely sweet citrus smelling bunch of goodness! I personally own the body wash, the body scrub and the body butter and it is by far my favourite scent especially during the summer! It is great as a pick me up or as a wake me up during the morning and it is a great kick-start to the day!

 

Another one of my favourites scents is the Clean On Me shower gel, I really can't describe this smell but on the bottle I can't find any ingredients which describe the smell either so I am sorry that I cannot describe the scent to you. I personally prefer this scent of a night time as it is a really nice calming smell!

 

My next favourite is a makeup item and it is the Thick And Fast and it pretty much does what it says on the tin! It both thickens and lengthens your lashes giving you a wider eyed makeup look!

 

My last favourite from Soap And Glory is the Hand Food hand cream. This is a freaking lifesaver! I think that you an find this hand cream in every bag I own! I am in love with this hand cream and it just does wonders! It also smells amazing and I think that you should go out right now and buy it because it is amazing!

Ten Things I Like To Do On A Sunday.

Sundays, you either love them or you hate them. I personally love them and I have decide to  put a few of my favourite things to do on a Sunday!

Walk my dog.

 I just love going for a walk and just thinking! It really helps if you want to take more time to think about something. This might include thinking about problems, what blog post you want to write next or even what you are going to have for dinner that night! 

 

Bake something.

 Baking is something I love to do if I am feeling more productive and feel like doing something that will make me and my family happy!

 

Clean my room.

 Believe it or not, cleaning my room really relaxes me and I just love the feeling of a clean room when I am writing a blog post or sipping on a cup of tea!

 

Wash my makeup brushes.

 having clean brushes to use on a Monday morning is one of the best things to have when starting of the week! It just feels really clean and extra fresh.

 

Go shopping.

 personally I love to go shopping on a Saturday but I could shop till I drop any day! or at least until I run out of money...

 

Read.

I love a book when I have time to read it! I love being totally engulfed in a book and an all time favourite is Harry Potter!

 

Write a blog post.

Writing a blog post really relaxes me and I love to share my thoughts about beauty and non-beauty items and it just relaxes me to write down my thoughts!

 

Take photos for my Instagram and my blog.

I love taking editing and uploading photos and I just love it when I get feedback and lovely comments and likes on a photo I have uploaded!

 

Watch YouTube videos.

 If you watch YouTube then you will know that its Sugg Sunday! A day where the Suggs and many more YouTubers upload giving us amazing videos to watch!

 

Take time with my family.

One of the simplest things to do is to take time with your family! Its just really nice to spend time with the people you love the most and to enjoy the little things in life.

@floral_chelsea_xx - What is your favourite makeup brand?

 I absolutely love Benefit and MAC but when it comes to drugstore Soap And Glory or Maybeline are my favourites!

 

@charfashionbeautyxo - One place in the world you would love to visit?

 I would love to go to the Maldives but in the future going on a safari in Africa is on my bucket list! 

 

@pxstel_dreams - Who is your idol?

 Its no surprise for my Idol to be Zoe Sugg she has gained so much confidence over her years on YouTube and I have subscribed for about two years now and I have never missed a video! I love her personality and how even though she suffers with anxiety and panic attacks she still manages to push through and give her all for her subscribers and followers.

 

@unic._.rns - What are your favourite colours in the naked 3 palette?

 I am a huge fan of the Naked 3 palette and I love all of the colours but if I had to choose my favourites I would probably choose Dust, Buzz, Trick and Liar.

 

@_avaaalon - What app do you use to edit your Instagram photos?

 I use one app for my Instagram photos and that is Whitagram. All I do is turn up the brightness twice and that's it!

 

@pastelbeautyieee - What made you want to start a themed Instagram?

 I had seen a ton of peoples Instagram accounts and they really inspired me! I wanted to try it myself and it started growing more than I thought! I am now on 2407 followers which is absolutely insane! I live talking to you all and meeting new friends! one friend especially, Anna (@_thewondersofme_ on Instagram) she is my best friend who I have never met! We snap chat each other pretty much every single day and I can count on her to cheer me up! She is actually away skiing right now and I am missing her so much! 

 

@xjuulbischofs - Favourite TV show?

 Pretty Little Liars or The Walking Dead, I know they couldn't be any more different but I love them both!

 

@pastelayesha - Favourite old TV show?

 Probably Hannah Montana if I'm honest! I just remember loving it and I literally broke down when it ended!

 My Naked 3 palette, my Benefit Roller Lash and my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer!

Room Makeover

So I finally decorated my room. After five years of the same room it was getting really boring! My room used to be a horrible dark purple colour which was great, when I was 9... I really wanted something a lot more brightening especially for the summer and that kind of thing so I just thought I would show you all how I have decorated my room and maybe this could give you a little inspiration if you are looking into decorating your room. I also got the alex 5 unit from ikea which I use as a bedside table and I store my makeup, hair ar and skincare in it.

MAC Mineralize Blush ~ 'Love Thing'

Despite my lipsticks I don't own that much makeup from Mac, I do however own the most gorgeous blush ever! It is in the shade 'Love Thing' and its a dark pink-purple with gold undertones. Usually I would not venture towards this kind of blush but as a gift from my aunt how could I say no? I am absolutely in love with this blush so I thought I would tell you all a bit about it and what I think! I am in no way however, trying to brag or boast in anyway.

 

 

First off lets talk a bit about the colour, being a much darker blush than I would usually go for I was a little sceptical about wearing this and if I could actually pull it off. Being my pale self, I was a little worried the colour would be too strong for my skin tone but with a bit of building and blending I was able to see the stunning colour that it is! The blush also has gold undertones and this really helps highlight the skin and give you more of a boost in colour.

 

Next I wanted to talk about pigmentation, and as being Mac, you can't really go wrong. The blush is super pigmented but not overpowering as is it still buildable. The blush is also really great for blending and I love it for that 'I look like I hopped out in the cold but didn't' look which is why I would however recommend it more for the autumn, winter times.

 

I absolutely adore this blush but I know, being retailed at £21 it is a little out of others and my own price range. All in all I would really recommend this blush and I always get tons of lovely compliments whenever I wear it!

Sleepover/Girly Night In Essentials

Everyone loves a sleepover right? Well I have decided to put together a few of my essentials and my bare necessities to a girly night in whether that's food, films or just fun things to do I have wrote a list of everything I love!

 

Movies:

 

So usually I vary between which movie I usually watch but at a sleep over I absolutely love a comedy or a horror. I personally hate horror films but it is just so funny when everyone screams together although its not so great when you're trying to get to sleep at night... If however a horror is not your favourite a Disney movie is defiantly next on my list!

 

 

Food:

 

Obviously pizza is first on my list I mean, a sleepover without pizza is like Ezra without Aria... But if for some reason you don't like pizza, milkshakes and popcorn are a must have!

 

Music:

 

At any sleepover we always have some music playing in the background but it is just great fun being able to sing and dance around acting really stupid with your friends. Just make sure not to wake anyone else in the house!

 

Activities:

 

So when you're having your sleepover you don't really want to be sat around not talking right? I love to get on some stupid Just Dance game or something because one way or another it will probably end up in tears of laughter!
