Five Things To Do In The Summer Holidays

Even though the summer holidays is time to relax, it can often get quite boring if you're stuck in the house all day. So I have created a list of five things that you can do to keep you occupied.

1. Start a blog
You could write a blog about anything you like. (preferably something that you like to write about) It is a great way to pass the time and express your love for what you enjoy.

 2. Bake something
I love baking and I love to see the results of a cake when I take it out of the oven. If you have never tried baking there are plenty of recipes everywhere and I would recommend simple, but yummy, cupcakes. My favourite cake to bake at the moment is a Victoria Sponge as they're so easy to make but they are absolutely delicious!

3. Read a book series
I used to absolutely love reading when I was in year six and you would always fine a book in my hand, but now, I find much more difficult to actually sit down and read so I am making it my aim to read at least five books.

4. Go for a walk with your friends
This idea is so easy to do. All you need to do is ask your friends if they want to go out for a walk and its a great time to pass the time and to just have a good chat.

5. Decorate your room
Now I'm not saying completely tear your room apart and get a ton of new furniture but what you can do it decorate it with simple things. One thing I did was get a few photos printed of me and my friends and stuck them on the side of my wardrobe. I found it did actually make a difference to my room and brings back the memories of when that photo was taken.

I hope that this post has given you a few ideas of what you can do and I know there is so much more to do out there, but these are just simple ideas of what you can do in your own home. I hope that you enjoyed this and comment below what you thought.

What's in my bag? Summer 2015

So I have already wrote a 'what's in my bag' but that was for winter so I thought it is about time I did an updated one!

My bag is actually from Primark and I think it's really good (as in quality) for it's price of £8. I prefer a smaller bag as it is less I carry and is much lighter. I really like the mint green colour and silver hardware as I find it is really summery.

The first thing I bring with me is my phone, I can't leave the house without it! I also bring a pair of headphones with me because it means that I can listen to music whenever I want!

Next is my purse I only have a small one because it means I can it more in my bag but this is just one I got for my birthday and it's from Paul's Boutiques and has different compartments. This means I am able to store cash, coins an any cards.

I also take my sunglasses which again, are from primark. The are actually really good quality and are a nice shape which I love! I always carry a pair because with England's forever changing weather, you never know when you'll need them!

I always carry some sort of lip product and at the moment I love Zoella's 'Kissy Missy' tinted lip balm because at the same time as moisturising my lips it also gives such a lovely tint of colour!

So that is everything I keep with me! I told you it wasn't much! Sometimes I might bring a small perfume sample around but I prefer to travel light! I hope you have a great day!

How Much My Face Is Worth

Usually I don't really think about how much my face is actually worth but I have seen this specific blog post floating around the internet and I thought that I would join in with the trend. I tend to change up my makeup routine often but if I want my easy everyday makeup routine I have a few products which I always go back to.

I am going to go in order of how I put my makeup on and I always start with a primer. The primer which I love and find works brilliantly for my is the Benefit Porefessional - £24.50 and this keeps my makeup on all day and creates a smooth base which I can work with.

I don't wear foundation but I do use a BB cream when I need that extra bit of coverage and I use the Rimmel 9-in-1 BB cream - £6.99 and this just gives me more coverage and also has SPF 25 so it is especially great in the summer.

I love concealer and my favourite is very well known and is very popular and it is of course the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer - £4.19. This concealer is known for the amount of coverage it gives which makes covering annoying blemishes a lot easier! Many people do not like this for under the eyes but I do so I use this concealer for everything!

For powder I like to use a translucent powder to make my skin look as natural as possible and I use the Rimmel Clear Complexion powder - £3.99 which gives a natural finish to the skin and sets my makeup in place.

For blush, contour and highlight I love the Sleek Face Form palette - £9.99 in light and the shades in this palette are just stunning! The palette gives such a lovely finish and also sculpts your face really nicely but also naturally.

Onto eyes, I usually switch up the products I use almost everyday but for a more natural, affordable palette, rather than my Naked palette, I use the Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette - £3.99 and I also use the fourth shade on my brows because it matches them and are perfect for me to fill in any gaps in my brows. I love all of the shades and they create stunning eye looks!

I use a clear mascara to set my brows and I use the Technic Natural Lashes clear mascara - £1.49 and it is almost running out and it looks all horrible and grubby now but it does the job and sets my brows in place for the rest of day.

I love mascara and my all time favourite has to be Benefit Roller Lash - £19.50. This mascara does absolute wonders to my lashes and lengthens them more than any other mascara does!

Finally it was really hard for me to choose only one lip product but I chose the MAC lipstick in the shade Flamingo - £15.50. It is a stunning coral colour which is perfect for the summer because it is that perfect shade.

So the grand total for my face is £90.14 which I think is okay but everyone has different opinions which is fine!

I hope that you enjoyed this post and that you comment what you thought! Also if you have done your own post of this comment below and I will check it out. Also I am so sorry about the quality of my pictures my charger has broken for my usually camera so I had to use my phone.
